VTouch recently won the Machine Learning Challenge 2017 that was hosted by Google Korea in an effort to raise interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
VTouch is a virtual touch technology company for vehicles and smart homes. HyperConnect, the runner-up, is a mobile video communication company. Approximately 80 teams participated in the first round online session, and the top 17 teams competed in the second round hackathon held in Google’s Campus Seoul. At the hackathon, participants created an artificial intelligence game using TensorFlow and the Google cloud platform to determine whether a given face was real or fake. Afterwards, a tournament was conducted to depict the best algorithm.
